What does mouse speed do?
Dots per inch are referred to as DPI. The speed of the cursor and sensitivity of the mouse is measured by it. The higher your mouse DPI, the faster it responds to movement per inch and the farther it travels. Your mouse will respond to move slower if the DPI is low. Effective dots per inch are also known as eDPI. DPI and eDPI differ primarily in that the former is a measurement of your mouse's movement settings, while the letters combine DPI with game sensitivity.

With increased sensitivity, the mouse moves faster and requires less effort to get across the screen. The higher your mouse's DPI, the faster the cursor moves, you'll have to move your hand less to cps counter bring your cursor across the screen. You can set your DPI in your mouse settings or alternately go into settings for the games you play, look for the gameplay or controls features, and then change mouse sensitivity in the game itself.
